    Location

there wasn't any basic bath supplies.

The location is great...within walking distance from many tourist attractions (Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben etc.) and just 2 min walk from Victoria Station so easy acces to public transport as well. Although we booked a room with shared bathroom, they gave us a room with ensuite bathroom for no extra charge.

Breakfast room extremely small and crowded...once had to stay in line for 5-10 min before getting in. Breakfast is very limited (only butter, jam, bread, milk, tea, coffee) and served for 1 hour only - between 8 and 9.

Hotel exceeded expectation in a good location, close to Victoria Station but off the main roads so was not too noisy. This is a budget hotel and while I have stayed in a number of these around this location this was by far the best. Hotel has been renovated recently and was clean which is a big plus and not always a given unfortunatly. Rooms have proper card entry locks and my double was small but equiped with a hairdryer, shower and toilet and small flat screen tele. Bed was comfortable and staff friendly. The rate at £50 for two including a basic breakfast (didn't try this) seemed reasonable for the location and check in time was 12am. Not one perhaps for the elderly (no lift) or a romantic break but fine for a night out in London.

Breakfast is only served from 8-9am,

the only thing I liked was being so close to Victoria station!

The room itself was a good size for 3 people and the bed was not uncomfortable. Cheap (1 pound) WiFi was helpful and the location was good.

I did not like the "bathroom". The shower got the entire floor wet and the room was tiny. The breakfast was poor, the breakfast room is small and unpleasant. Breakfast is only served for one hoiur, between 8 and 9 am, and there is no way all the residents of the hotel can be served in that space in one hour.

The location was good as it was central for buses, tubes and trains. The bed, though hard, gave us two good nights' sleep, and the room was quiet with no noise filtering in from the traffic.

As a widely-travelled couple, we have to say this is the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. The receptionist on arrival was not particularly welcoming. Our room was tiny and the bathroom was minuscule. We measured it and found it to be 2.5 ft by 3 ft! To get into the bathroom you had to climb a rather steep step (not very easy for a mature person), and to sit on the toilet you had to put one foot in the shower cubicle and open the door into the bedroom. The breakfast room was located down two flights of twisty stairs and a couple of corridors. This was another small room and there was a certain amount of hanging around waiting for a table to become vacant. At least one member of the breakfast room staff didn't understand/speak English. We cannot understand how this hotel was awarded two diamonds by the English Tourism Council!

hotel is centrally located few metres from victoria station, good value for money, rooms clean but small ideal for sightseeing not hang arround hotel!

The staff could do with a customer service training, guys in the reception more interested to their headfones on ears than customers, they dont really want to answer any questions about sorrounding areas i asked how far was picaddilly circus from hotel the answer was i dont know!! honestly for someone who leaves in london. Alarm went off in the early hours of morning bit scary i must say and not a sinlge word from staff.

Booked a twin room, was given a room with twin beds and a double bed without extra cost. Room was very big for London hotel, clean and comfortable. Hotel ordered pizza for us when we arrived late after being at Wimbledon. Will definitely book here again.

The staff were friendly and accomodating. Would stay there again. Nice area too. Very handy for station and central london.

Easy check out. Short distance to public transportation.

Cheapest breakfast ever. Don't expect to get anything but cheap toast and plain cornflakes. Beware of the instant coffee. Drink tea or the cheap o juice.

The location and the ease of finding the hotel. It gave our party of 7 persons a one hour talking/laughing point, comparing bathrooms.

I've never actually stayed in such a small room, and miniscule bathrooom before. Sitting on the toilet, I could touch the walls with my elbows, and I am a 5 foot 3 inch woman (this was the widest part of the bathroom), and I could also have washed my hands or cleaned my teeth at the same time, as the sink actually overhung the toilet. To get to the toilet, you actually had to reverse into the bathroom, and sit with one foot in the shower tray, as there was no where else to put your feet. The other thing I found quite odd, was that when I got into bed, even with my head on the pillow, all of the blood rushed to my head, as the bed stood on a slight downward slope towards the bed head, and we had to sleep with the pillows on the bottom of the bed.

We really liked the vicinity to Victoria station, for both coaches and trains....

The bathroom size is a little small, but good enough . WIFI access is restricted and there is none in the rooms, but we got that also in another part of England too so it might jsut be all over. Other than that it was pretty good.
